In the city of Nice, the delivery man Ben came with the new bike to test for the the Globe of death. If we like this one other ones might take the place of the bikes we presented you last month. We all know how much work it is to make a stock bike to a Globe bike: Lower, harder, shorter handle bar and so long. But this week end we just want to the main lines of that bike, and if the power is enough to give us satisfaction.
We show you what happened this week end in the city of Nice...Knock knock on the door...It's Ben, the delivery man of Sorrow motorcycles of Toulouse.

Ok,  our crew member Benjamin who is also designer of Sorrow motorcycles, brings us  our new bike for the globe. He had to deal with the hotel keeper to allow us to bring the bike into the hotel room. The man insisted " NO OIL ON THE FLOOR!! And not starting the bike off course.

Once the bike in the room we started to understand where what go where? Not easy with the guide book in Chinese . But Ben managed
it at his best. The stock plate number showed the number 31, the home town number of Ben. Ok, but will it help to make this bike a good Globe of death bike? Not sure.

2 o'clock at night , and we try to screw the shock absorber in his place, but  it was mission impossible.  A big error occurred in the fabrication of this bike. We screw, unscrew, knock with hammer, screw again...No way, so we've made a little modification , just to finish and go to bed.

Alright, the bike is almost ready,  we go to bed., we'll see tomorrow in the globe if Sorrow did a good job or not.

Danny tested the bike, then Ben. The bike  has power , but move weirdly. It needs to make the fork harder,  change the handle bar...The rear brake need also something....Mario will test the rear brake....
Yeess! Ok. The testing finished with this crash. We will bring the bike home and work on it . It clearly needs some work, like the rear brake for example.
Eh Mister Sorrow, you have other bike like this?? We like them. Not kding, they have real potential.
We would like to thanks our sponsor Sorrow motorcycles and Henot bikes.
Next month we will show you our minibikes.
To be continued next month

Motorcycle History of March 07

Welcome into our pit. We invite you to have a closer look on the bikes we use for the shows.
The first step is to find a bike not too heavy, strong enough for the globe.
We have Yamahas and Honda that need a couple of days of preparation. We explain you. Enjoy!

Bikes are chosen by each rider, then Danny work on the frame, fork, all modifications, then Benjamin paint them.
Next week our sponsor Sorrow motorcycles will help us getting theirs new motorcycles.
So you can look at this page, but surely if the test of the new Sorrow is ok (We mean if the bike is strong for the globe) we will give these ones up. So, come back next month in the page MOTORCYCLES.

Yamaha sr, 2003. Lightly modified.
Marcio bought this bike in Paris in 2004. He
loves to ride it.
Marcio's nickname is BOY, so Ben painted
on the tank the inscription "Lucky Boy"
The stars remind us the good old school
stunt man Evel Knievel!!

Danny bought this Honda in 2004, as skull
lover he asked right away to Ben to paint 2
big skulls on the tank, see also the small one
screwed on the frame near the engine.
This bike is too big and too heavy for the globe
but in his hands the bike looks like a bicycle.
Not to mention the nice low noise. See it live!!

In fact this is Ben's bike that he borrows to Adrian when he comes in Europe to ride with us.
Ben painted it in his own pure style.

Mario is the flame guy of the crew, so he asked to ben to paint flames on the tank. With time
the tank got some damages, but as you can see we have a lot of other flame bikes.
